Steven Rivera

Steven is a driven individual who lives by the Nike slogan, "just do it!" and demonstrates a remarkable ability to achieve whatever he sets his mind to.

From a young age, he has harbored a deep fascination with computers and the internet. By the time he reached 12 years old, he had already immersed himself in web development, crafting software programs designed to operate on the internet.

At the age of 17, he enlisted in the US Army as a unilingual Spanish speaker, embarking on the challenging journey of boot camp without any prior knowledge of English. Despite this obstacle, he persevered and ultimately obtained certifications in IT security, all accomplished in English.

Throughout his career, he has served as the Network Administrator and Information Technology Specialist for three military bases. His contributions were instrumental in reestablishing communication networks, both military and civilian, in Puerto Rico following the devastating Hurricane Maria.

Currently, he is focused on his startup venture, pouring his energy into its success.

His areas of expertise encompass a wide range of subjects, including blockchain technology, data analysis, frontend and backend development, firmware and hardware prototyping, network management involving Cisco switches and routers, as well as computer security maintenance. Furthermore, he possesses experience in handling secret servers and managing classified data.

He has also cultivated teaching experience, offering cybersecurity awareness training sessions and delivering talks on topics such as body language and the benefits of high-power poses. Additionally, he conducted a highly successful Web3 & Blockchain Puerto Rico Bootcamp, which drew participation from over 400 students.
