The Puerto Rico Blockchain Trade Association announced an official education partnership with the Blockchain Education Network (BEN).

The partnership will accelerate blockchain education in Puerto Rico, and offer anyone interested in learning about decentralization, cryptocurrency, and related topics remote and in-person courses from expert educators and local entrepreneurs. Course material is completely free and will be offered in both Spanish and English.

President of The Blockchain Education Network Erick Pinos notes, “This partnership continues the positive changes happening in Puerto Rico as a direct result of the growing number of blockchain companies relocating to the island. Now anyone can learn about the technology and opportunities behind blockchain, leading to more entrepreneurship and high paying job opportunities in one of the fastest growing industries in the world today.”

As the largest and oldest network of blockchain students, alumni, and professors across the world, BEN offers course material designed to spur blockchain adoption by empowering members to bring blockchain to their communities.

Keiko Yoshino, Executive Director of The Puerto Rico Blockchain Trade Association comments, “We are proud to partner with The Blockchain Education Network on these critical initiatives. We have many open blockchain job opportunities in Puerto Rico, and many more on the way. BEN’s free program offers the opportunity for anyone to tap into the growing economic powerhouse generated by blockchain tech in Puerto Rico.”
